One Stitch at a Time Challenge 195

This is the first One Stitch at a Time challenge of 2014, and the theme is 'new'. So, new life, new romance, new year ... you get the idea.

I decided to go for a Spring theme - new growth, and used an image from Stitchy Bear herself called Roots, which is, of course, available from our sponsors,
.

I cut the aperture in the front using a Spellbinders die. the paper on the front is from my collection - I've had it for literally years. The inside uses a paper from Stitchy's Oriental Beauty set. The arched dies are from Sizzix and, as usual, I coloured with Promarkers.

I hope you can join us this week.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Card and Scrap where they want flowers,
Cards Galore Encore where anything goes,
Doodle Pantry where any (digi) goes,
Kreativeinkauf where anything goes,
Seemacrafts where anything goes,
Creative Craft Challenge where anything goes,
LEJ Designs where anything goes,
Papertake Weekly where anything goes,
Crafty Boots where anything goes,
Creative Creations where anything goes.

Oh what a very pretty card Josephine ....I love glimpsing your daffodils through the window and then opening your card to see Spring in its full beauty. Love the papers too ....They really do shout Spring and new beginnings. Love Ingrid xx

I am so glad you joined in with the LEJ Designs Challenge Blogs first monthly challenge. This months theme is a nice easy one 'anything goes'.

What a really lovely card. Great idea decorating the inside and out and the lovely papers you have used. The window is great and I love the lack of embellishments as it allows the papers to do the speaking.

I hope you will visit us again and join in with many more of our future monthly challenges.

<3 & hugs
