who're going to give three Promarkers to the lucky winner!
Now, if you're like me, you can't imagine sending a Hallowe'en card to anyone. It's just not an occasion for cards, despite the fact that, as a Scot, it's always been a notable date on the calendar. (Although, I must admit since the whole 'Trick or Treat' thing crossed the Atlantic, I now give do my best to ignore it.) So, I went for Hallowe'en colours. They seem to be black and orange (although again, I assume the orange is a US import along with the idea of pumpkins. We used to use turnips (or swedes if you're not a Scot) and dug those out to make lanterns. (Much harder work, I assure you ...)
Anyway, that's a long explanation of why I chose Cootsy Creations' image and papers called Tiger.
I shrank one of the papers as a background to the tiger image before printing, then coloured the image with Promarkers. The background is another paper from the set, and I finished with some black card for matting, some black ribbon and a silver sun which I warmed a bit using a Pumpkin Promarker.
I hope you can join us this week.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Shopping Our Stash where they want orange and black,
Creative Romance where they've got a 'metal mania' theme,

Oooooh Josephine, what a very beautiful card. I love the tiger with his tiger skin papers and the black ribbon is the perfect finishing touch to a card of such elegance. Love Ingrid xx
Hi there Josephine, OH WOW - I just love what you have done with my digi and paper pack, it looks fabulous and I do hope you enjoyed playing with them :) Better still (and I didn't know you were a Scot) is your reason for using black and orange (I don't do Halloween either lol). Recall many times when staying with friends being given neeps from the farmers field to start digging out (with a blunt knife and spoon lol) then making the face before putting the candle inside then off to bonfire night for sausages, jacket tatties and sparklers :) What I would give today for some haggis, neeps and tatties, do so miss them in Saudi :) Hugs for now hun. Jane xxxx
Cute tiger and great background paper.

Hi Josephine - Aren't tigers the most amazing animals. I have an ambition to hold a tiger or lion's paw (don't ask me why) although they would have to be asleep LOL. you have coloured this one beautifully and I love the backing paper - such a lovely card.
Hugs to you Sue Pxxx DT teamie

LOL, I'm American but I have some Scottish ancestry...wouldn't my ancestors laugh at all these Halloween cards I send out! But you know us Americans, if we can purchase something we will LOL! Plus, I need to support the postal service before it shuts down completely! LOL. Anyway, I just love this card. Your coloring is so lovely I thought it was a pre-colored image! Best Wishes, Your OSAAT teamie, CG
