One Stitch at a Time Challenge 207

This week at One Stitch at a Time, we want to see flowers! They can be in the image or as an embellishment - the choice is yours.

Our sponsor this week is:
This week, I chose an image from Ike'sArt called Poinsettia Cluster. Yes, I've started my Christmas cards. I normally try to get started during the Easter holidays, and they started this weekend, so I'm just about on schedule.

I arranged two of the image in Photoshop Elements before printing. I coloured using Promarkers and Flexmarkers and finished each flowers with some spots of Letraset Metallic marker in gold. I die cut the greeting using a Britannia die (not one of my favourites - it's not easy to get a clean cut.) I added some sticky ribbon (from Tiger), some glitter paper and a couple of paper flowers I've had forever, finishing the flowers with some Liquid Pearl. So, nothing too complicated, and what's more, I'll even be able to post the result!

I hope you can join us this week.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Papertake Weekly where anything goes,
Crafting By Designs where anything goes,
Christmas Cards All Year Round where they want poinsettias,
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge where anything goes,
Doodle Pantry where anything goes (with a digi),
Oddball Art Stamp where they want us to use a digi,
4 Crafty Chicks where they want us to colour a stamped image,
4 Crafty Girlz where anything goes,
Crafty Ribbons where anything goes (with ribbon),

I love your card Josephine, but don't love thinking about Christmas just yet...we've still got snow for our very long winter and I sure don't want to be reminded of Christmas now !! It is such a lovely creation though, so I mean no disrespect to you. Good for you for getting started so early.
