So, to me, summer holidays mean the coast. I was born and brought up on the Clyde coast, in a town where the river was almost always visible as the town rises up from the river quite steeply. I now live well inland, and the one thing I miss is being able to see the water.
The image reminds me of Gourock from the river. It's not that it really looks like that, and the hill isn't nearly steep enough! But it still reminds me, and makes me think of holiday time and taking a ferry to Argyll.
