This weekend, I got rather inky, and I've got a couple of Christmas cards to show for it.
This is me back playing with my brayer, and using ideas direct from Barbara Gray. (But then, I'm using her split tree stamp, so I don't feel too guilty about it.)
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Sweet Stamping where they want clean and simple,
Cute Card Thursday where the theme is 'treemendous',
One Stop where anything goes.
I've used distress inks for the background, and the tree (and extra branches) are stamped in Memento in brown. The paper is from Crafty Individuals, I think.
This one uses a stamp I bought back in the summer, but I can't remember whose it is. (That's one disadvantage of unmounted stamps - if you lose the packaging, you've lost the information.) It's stamped in Versamark ink, and embossed in white. I've used a Cuttlebug embossing folder in the background, and other than some layering, it's very simple.
I'd like to enter this card intot he following challenges:
Mark's Finest Papers where they want no design papers,

Lovely cards... I have that problem with unmounted stamps too. I've begun to store them in boxes marked with the brand so at least I have a vague idea now. The old way where they were stored under "floral", "cute", "background/swirls" just wasn't helpful!
